We are looking for a highly motivated professional with excellent value selling, communication and negotiation skills. Sales Manager is the main contact with the customer and is expected to meet the following expectations:

  • Lead, establish, develop, engage and improve relationships with existing and prospective customers through building long term, sustainable relationships with open and interactive communication.

    • Hunt and initiate reach out to customers (both existing and new) to bring in new volumes and revenues for Veolia

    • Build pipeline of new customers and projects for sustainable growth of revenue 

  • Be the link between the customers and Veolia, involved in all aspects of customer management and customer service. 

    • EHS is the core of our activities in Toxic Industrial Waste treatment. Candidate will coordinate all aspects of our activities at the customer site and is personally responsible for ensuring we provide quality service safely to our customers

    • Ensure timely update/ collation/ maintenance of information/ enquiries/ Tenders of customer in Salesforce, coordinate and profile waste/ SDS etc. to ensure proper records are kept for reference

    • Coordinate internally within Veolia to finalise solutions (cost, treatment routes and for special waste that requires special handling) for the customer’s most difficult waste problems 

    • Prepare quotation/ proposals to customers showcasing Veolia’s capabilities in Toxic Industrial Waste treatment in Singapore

    • Be customer’s point of contact for all matters (commercial and technical) with support from the technical team if necessary 

  • Lead, gather and consolidate market information on the toxic industrial waste market in Singapore 

    • Market research of new opportunities, new plants, new potential customer

    • Obtain information on key market for Veolia and the competition

  • Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of business development / sales & marketing experience. 

  • Experience in chemical / oil and gas industries is a plus.

  • Knowledge in environmental services / waste management is an added advantage.

  • Proven track record of generating new business and rapid revenue growth.

  • Excellent value selling and negotiation skills.

  • Hunter, energetic, initiative, keen eye for details.
