Job Description

This role sits within Veolia's Industrial and Treatment (I&T) division and carries direct responsibility for developing and managing distribution channels across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of industrial water treatment markets, a track record of delivering against commercial targets, and the credibility to engage at senior levels with both channel partners and end customers.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Develop and oversee growth strategies across markets and customer segments, with a focus on industrial applications and competitor retrofit opportunities

  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new channel partners, distributors, resellers, and OEMs

  • Take full responsibility for meeting and exceeding operating plan targets

  • Support channel partners in their daily operations, providing commercial and technical guidance

  • Apply Veolia's broader product and service portfolio to address customer challenges creatively and effectively

  • Maintain a consistent focus on internal and external compliance

  • Participate in operational rhythms and reporting processes that support regional growth and business planning

  • Build and manage strategic accounts, developing executive-level relationships and long-term client loyalty

  • Manage the complete sales process including lead generation, opportunity qualification, forecasting, and deal closure

  • Act as the primary client liaison in warranty claims that require negotiation and problem resolution

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Direct Sales, Product Line Management, Commercial Engineering, Field Services, and CSM

Qualifications

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the water treatment industry, with a strong preference for hands-on knowledge of ultrafiltration, MBR, EDI, and reverse osmosis

  • Background in planning and executing sales campaigns with measurable outcomes

  • In-depth expertise in ultrafiltration; knowledge of additional water treatment technologies is advantageous

  • Experience in channel partner management, including distributors, resellers, and OEMs

  • Marketing and/or business development experience is desirable

  • Able to manage and influence stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work across cross-functional and multicultural teams

  • Fluency in both English and German, written and spoken, to a professional standard

  • Currently based within the DACH region, with Stuttgart area preferred

  • Willingness and ability to work remotely and travel as required
