Within the Purchasing team, you will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing department and managing / optimizing the process with the different suppliers, following the company's internal procedure. Among your main functions you will be in charge of:

 

  • Analyze the ERP system's purchasing demands.

  • Place orders for both stock and projects.

  • Review and optimize the stock levels of purchased parts and order quantities.

  • Negotiate prices with suppliers.

  • Perform supplier control and monitoring.

  • Prepare reports and follow-up meetings.

  • Lead a work team, develop their skills and define and/or validate their resource or training needs.

  • Establish department objectives and evaluate performance at a collective and individual level.

  • Analysis of departments needs and suppliers evaluation.

  • Strengthen and revise the supplier portfolio to meet growth objectives, increase efficiency and consolidate new or existing business relationships.

  • Control and monitoring of suppliers.

  • Educational background: Degree / technical background preferred

  • Minimum experience: 10 years in team management (purchasing in industrial projects)

  • Languages: English and Spanish high level (negotiation)

  • Another specific requirement: Experience in ERPs (Oracle, Sap, ...)

  • Valuable:

    • Experience and knowledge in water treatment

    • Engineering Degree
