Our welding team is top-notch and we are looking for a welder to join us. This role involves the layout, fit, and fabrication of metal components to assemble structural forms, such as frames for assembly, welding vessels, and piping systems, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.

First Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am - 2pm

Essential Responsibilities
These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary by additional duties that are assigned by the supervisor.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics and able to work from sketches or
  • verbal instructions.
  • Perform free-hand MIG and TIG welding.
  • Performs TIG welding on argon purged piping spools and components.
  • Performs sanitary welding and fitting of parts.
  •  Performs complex assembly of machines.
  • Performs some machining to complete welding task and finishing.
  • Assist in developing and building jigs and fixtures.
  • Operate other metal fabrication tools including Iron Worker, Lathe/Mill, Band Saw and T-drill.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Able to demonstrate a successful MIG weld and TIG weld.
  • Ability to weld stainless and carbon steel alloys.
  • Basic mathematics skills.
  • Must be able to submit a 6G weld coupon to be certified by an independent testing facility.
  • May be required to pass a re-certification test.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Experience with MIG and TIG welding and ability to complete successful free-hand welds on interview day.

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • General mechanical aptitude
