Job Description

Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting Warehouse Operations and Logistics in Woodridge, Illinois. This person in this role will be responsible for daily picking and packing throughout the day, unpacking and loading truck shipments throughout the day, and the organization of incoming stock coming to the Warehouse. In this role you will work with other team members to meet daily shipping/receiving goals as well as execute order fulfillments when needed by prepping and packing shipments.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives and organizes incoming orders
  • Packing and Unpacking truck shipments
  • Inspecting shipments for damage or missing product
  • Counting and tracking stock when needed
  • Inspect warehouse daily to make sure it is operating safely
  • Maintain clean aisles and follow all OSHA guidelines and standards

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to lift 0-75lbs
  • Ability to drive a forklift
  • Safety minded

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 months experience in a warehouse environment or logistics setting

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 months experience in a Warehouse
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some experience with picking and packing
  • Safety Minded
  • Ability to lift 0 - 75lbs on a daily basis

Preferred:

  • Forklift certification
  • Experience driving an operating a forklift

  • Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles.  The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.  Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: 23.00 to 25.00 an hour
