BS&P Project Engineer

Reports to the Technical & Performance director of Taiwan Business Unit.

This position will be in charge of:

1. Coordinate and implement the BS&P Corporate Policy in Taiwan BU and JVs,

• Contribute to the elaboration of the Veolia Taiwan Digital Roadmap (including the Joint Ventures) and the implementation of the digital tools
• Lead the Net Zero Roadmap of Veolia Taiwan 
• Coordinate the yearly technical and environmental reporting of Veolia for Taiwan 
• Contribute to the review of the JV's budget. Make sure the budget is sound from an operational and technical viewpoint
• Be the contact point for Innovation Reporting / Interface with Asia Zone.
• Contribute and write the Technical Memorandum of different project for submission to Veolia Engagement Committee

2. Contribute in the management of the business performance for existing contracts/projects

• Lead the Efficiency Plan of Veolia Taiwan (implementation of actions across the business which result in recurring EBITDA).
• Contribute to the ramp-up of a Solvent recycling plant. 
• Launch the analysis of the Maintenance Capex for WTE plants, and HW plants 
• Work with the Finance Dept to contribute to the detailed assessment of the profitability of different portfolio projects, and 
• Work with the Finance Dept to contribute to the elaboration of the JV’s budgets to ensure budgets are properly sized and phased over 1 year, this to allow the continuous assessment of their performance.

3. Lead specific “transformation” and Innovation projects within the BU

4. Contribute from a technical viewpoint in the development of projects towards Industry and or Public Clients.

• With regards to the projects pipeline, depending on the project size, the mission of the BS&P Project engineer could comprise:
• support to the elaboration of the Technical Model, 
• participation in different working groups such as Technical Committee / Process Review working group)
• being the Point of Contact for Veolia Taiwan
• Lead valorisation/recycling/reuse projects on existing businesses

1. Bachelor Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering.

2. At least 7 years of related engineering experience or equivalent level preferably with basics in Water Process, Waste Water Process, Construction management and commissioning and Operation KPI, also skill in modelise performance parameters of a project/business and understand fundamentals of Project, client needs and support technically the project team.

3. Fluent in English preferably Mandarin/ willing to learn Mandarin

4. Willing to learn new areas in an international company context.
