Targeted Annual Pay Range: Minimum of $130,000.00 to a maximum of $140,000.00

POSITION PURPOSE: We are looking for a seasoned, multi-vendor BAS MSI support specialist. This role provides technical support and systems engineering to fulfill the scope of work outlined in contracts between Veolia and its clients, together with any other relevant client documents such as policies, standards, and processes. As the clients integrate various facilities, you will be providing technical guidance and recommendations as well as troubleshooting and quality control over projects.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BAS application support.
  • Review existing systems architectures and designs.
  • Work with on-site contractors to assist with the migration of newly installed Niagara 4 systems to a highly secure computing environment.
  • Troubleshoot networking, system performance and integration issues for building automation system migrations onto enterprise platforms.
  • Assist in the development of standards, plans, and specifications.
  • Support Project Managers who have oversite of capitol projects
  • Maintain system documentation of migrated systems, servers, energy meters and other devices.
  • Other assignments and tasks reasonably requested by management.

Location: The position is remote from home, but applicant must be available during Mountain Standard Time working hours.  occasional travel as needed for site evaluations and project delivery.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years BAS industry experience.
  • Strong Technical expertise in BAS technologies including some or all the following:
    • Systems Integration design, development, and implementation
      • Building Automation Systems
      • Lighting Controls Systems
      • Controls Strategies
      • Control Protocols (BACnet, MQTT, Modbus, Lonworks, Fox, etc.)
      • Systems Specifications
      • System Architectures
      • Schematic Drawings & Wiring Diagrams
      • Sequence of Operations
      • Point Naming and Addressing
    • IP Networking and structured cabling
    • Cybersecurity best practices
    • System Audits and Site Surveys

Tridium Niagara AX and N4 certification is required. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of two or more of the following systems:

  • Alerton Envision / Compass
  • Automated Logic WebCTRL
  • Delta Controls ORCA Suite / enteliWEB
  • Johnson Controls Metasys
  • Siemens Apogee Insight / Desigo

Additional requirements:

  • Position is contingent on an FBI background check.
  • Must be a current U.S. citizen or permanent resident, no exceptions.
