Job Description
As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operational and maintenance expertise on industrial wastewater treatment systems for one of our customers from a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media filtration, industrial wastewater treatment and ultrafiltration (UF).

Conduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities
Consult with customer management and operation teams
Excellent mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills
Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
Duties & Responsibilities (List 5-7 essential functions for the role, focusing on broader responsibilities)
Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting and repairs on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
Perform analytical testing such as: Turbidity, pH, NH3, DO, COD and jar testing in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)

Operate Forklift
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (List out required and preferred skills as applicable)
Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with field services teams
Basic understanding of mechanical components and the ability to repair or assist in the repair of equipment on site (blowers, pumps, motors, level transmitters, flow meters, valves and gearboxes).
Ability to perform laboratory testing and apply results to operational conditions to optimize and improve facility performance.
Ability to enter data in various databases.
Provide customers and coworkers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system.
Qualifications
Required:
Preferred (if applicable):
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
TCEQ Class C Wastewater Operator’s License
Extensive experience working with critical and preventative maintenance.
Extensive experience operating municipal or industrial wastewater treatment facilities.
Working Conditions (Specify % of travel involved if applicable, physical conditions, interaction with any hazardous material, work environment, etc.)
Ability to travel within the region as needed
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to travel extensively- primarily in the posting Geographic area
