Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Project Engineer of Energy Management will be a technical support of field operations for major projects in the Energy Management division of SourceOne and responsible for providing energy consulting support and maintaining good working relationships with all SourceOne customers.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Directly reporting to Supervising Engineer of Energy Management.
- Support the sale of all Energy Management services.
- Provide major project execution for Energy Management team.
- Support technical requirements of Energy Management projects.
- Professional advanced service to account relationships.
- Building new and existing customer relationships as key team member.
- Provide customer bridge to Business Development team.
- Support of processes to streamline standard operations.
- Collaborate with other teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Supporting project management requests as required by the energy management team.
- Provide professional project management services.
- Directly lead field contractors in the execution of SourceOne initiatives.
- Support all purchasing, contracting, project timeline, and execution management for Energy Management field technical initiatives.
Work Environment:
- This role involves supporting multiple client engagements at their location.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- BS/BA required preferably in Business, Math, Accounting, Engineering, or relatable field.
- 5+ years of energy, utility, or engineering experience is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to prioritize work.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy.
- Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills.
- Great PC and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
