Job Description

Position Purpose: 

Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience building and maintaining work plans and schedules, updating work order data, coordinating with supervisors and field crews, and producing basic reports to track schedule performance.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with building and updating work plans and schedules.
  • Assist with maintaining HXGN work order data.
  • Assist with coordinating priorities with supervisors and field crews.
  • Assist with tracking completion and schedule performance.
  • Assist with reviewing workforce and resource plans for constraints.
  • Assist with researching city/county ordinances affecting field work.
  • Assist with documenting processes and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain project plans in Smartsheet (task lists, milestones, dependencies, predecessors).

Work Environment:

  • Environments vary by internship function from office to field to plant.
  • Our aim is to provide tangible industry job experience to each intern.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background: 

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Working toward a four-year engineering degree and currently a junior in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or a related field such as Construction or Project Management.
  • 3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Resource planning and workload concepts.
  • Data analytics skills to interpret datasets and deliver actionable insights.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
