Job Description

The Energy Analyst will be responsible for a range of strategic and technical activities to support the newly created Energy Center of Excellence in the U.S.:

-Energy Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of the complex and rapidly evolving U.S. energy landscape, including market trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements related to the Energy Transition. Focus on analyzing energy consumption patterns and production needs for key strategic sectors such as Data Centers and Manufacturing.

-Optimization: Identify and implement energy optimization strategies for Veolia's services and customer solutions, with a focus on increasing electricity production efficiency and system flexibility. This involves assessing current operations and developing models to enhance performance and reduce costs.

-Market Research: Perform detailed market research to identify new business opportunities and competitive intelligence within the U.S. energy transition space. Research will inform the development of new energy services and products, specifically targeting high-growth areas like digital energy solutions.

-Digital Energy Services: Actively support the development and deployment of new digital tools and services aimed at helping customers navigate the Energy Transition. 
This includes working closely with the Digital Energy Services team to integrate digital capabilities into new and existing service offerings.

-Project Management: Manage small to medium-scale internal projects related to the development and rollout of new energy services and products. This requires strong organizational skills, clear and concise communication, and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of internal teams, including senior leadership.
 

Qualifications

  • Educational background: Engineering Master

  • Professional background: Exposure to Energy or Sustainability.

  • Skills: Analytical, communication

  • Languages: English

  • Personal abilities: Self starter, strong drive, good interpersonal skills to connect with people

Other: Digital skills appreciated
