The IT Operations, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Lead is a senior operational lead responsible for ensuring the total reliability, availability, security, and performance of Veolia Taiwan’s technology environment. As the primary owner of "Delivery & Reliability" and "Cybersecurity & IT/OT Compliance", this role provides the foundational infrastructure and hosting perimeters that power all core enterprise systems as well as local Data and AI initiatives.

【Key Responsibilities】

Foundational Infrastructure for Enterprise, Data & AI:

  • Manage and maintain cloud environments (AWS and GCP), server instances, database hosting, and storage layers supporting core enterprise applications, the Central Data Platform, and AI processing.

  • Oversee hardware and network connectivity for operational environments, including plant network switches and data connectors.

  • Ensure 99.9% network availability across corporate offices and plant sites, managing routers, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN architectures.

IT/OT Cybersecurity & Governance:

  • Act as the local point of contact for Group and Asia Cybersecurity, enforcing global security frameworks, access policies, and encryption standards across IT and OT networks.

  • Monitor vulnerability dashboards, coordinate patch management, and ensure security issues are remediated within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization and maintain audit readiness to ensure zero critical gaps during security audits.

  • Define, document, and regularly test Disaster Recovery (DRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) in coordination with plant management.

Endpoint & Asset Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the procurement, configuration, deployment, and decommissioning of all endpoint hardware (laptops, mobile devices, and office peripherals).

  • Maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to enforce device encryption, security policies, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Third-Party Supplier & Helpdesk Supervision:

  • Manage external IT support suppliers, supervising their daily deliverables, tracking ticket queues, and enforcing SLA targets.

  • Serve as the Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation contact for major IT outages or complex technical incidents that exceed vendor scope, ensuring fast resolution and root-cause analysis.

應徵資格

【Required Qualifications】

  • 8+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, Network Engineering, IT Operations, and Cybersecurity.

  • Deep proficiency in managing cloud environments (AWS / GCP), virtual servers, database administration (SQL), and network architecture (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, OT network segmentation).

  • Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST, or Group corporate security frameworks), endpoint security tools, and vulnerability management platforms.

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows/Mac/Linux environments, Google Workspace administration, Active Directory/IAM, and MDM solutions.

  • Proven ability to manage third-party service providers, contract deliverables, and ITIL-aligned service management metrics.

  • Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and intermediate-to-advanced technical English (essential for regional security reporting and infrastructure alignments).

【Skills & Personal Attributes】

  • Reliability & Stability First: A methodical, process-oriented mindset dedicated to operational uptime, system health, and proactive risk reduction.

  • Structured Governance: Prefers clear procedures, documented runbooks, and disciplined vendor supervision over erratic ad-hoc troubleshooting.

  • Enabler of Data & AI: Takes pride in building and maintaining the high-performance hardware, network, and cloud foundation that allows the rest of the team to innovate safely.

  • Focus & Autonomy: Designed with zero direct employee-management duties, allowing deep focus on steady-state IT infrastructure, vendor SLA supervision, and cybersecurity compliance at a manageable, predictable pace.
