Job Description
Your responsibilities
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead advanced water and wastewater treatment projects from early concept to final handover. Working closely with Norwegian utilities, you will drive modernization of treatment facilities and ensure that sustainable, future-proof solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard.
You will guide multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate tasks, ensure quality, manage risks, and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners. Together with colleagues across the Nordics, you will help shape the next generation of water technology.
Your main tasks:
- Leading and developing the project team
- Steering design, production, installation, and commissioning
- Managing budgets, contracts, risks, and opportunities
- Handling stakeholder dialogue, negotiations, and technical discussions
- Ensuring strong collaboration and best practice in project governance
Qualifications
Who are we looking for
You have a solid technical background and extensive experience from large, complex projects related to drinking water and wastewater treatment plants. You are accustomed to working with multidisciplinary process and engineering projects, navigate confidently in demanding environments, and lead senior specialists with authority. You combine structured project execution with strong commercial understanding and a clear focus on quality, safety, and collaboration with public clients.
We imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (e.g. process, mechanical, or civil engineering)
- Documented experience leading major engineering projects
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
