Job Description
- Developing a schedule for routine maintenance of mobile plants, heavy equipment, trucks, etc.
- Responding to diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment.
- Creating standard operating procedures for maintenance and repairs.
- Training staff on equipment use and potential hazards to help ensure safety.
- Supervising members of the maintenance team, including Mechanics, Electricians and specialized contractors.
- Maintaining records of equipment installations, malfunctions, maintenance and repairs.
- Estimating project costs and assisting in developing a departmental budget.
- Staying current on machinery recalls, safety guidelines and evolving industry standards.
Additional Information
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services.
- Holder of a valid Mandatory Basic Safety Training Certificate (Construction Safety Green Card).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
- Possession of a valid driving license (Classes 1 and 2) is preferable.
- Fluent in both spoken and written Cantonese and English.
