Business Development Manager - Industrial Projects

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial sector in Malaysia, focusing on water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and stakeholders in the industry, including government agencies, industrial associations, and potential clients.
  • Analyze market research to identify emerging trends, Clients drivers, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
  • Qualify Leads and Opportunities to increase win rate
  • Develop Value propositions and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with stakeholders i.e. End Users, EPC contractors, consultants, M&E subcontractors
  • Lead the negotiation and closure of contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate project sales performance against defined goals and metrics, and provide regular reports and updates to management.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact the business and propose appropriate actions.
  • Represent Veolia Water Technologies at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote our services and expand our network.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or 10 years in project management within the industrial sector.
  • Proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network and relationships within the industrial sector in Malaysia.
  • Good Knowledge of process water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify potential business opportunities.
