Job Description

Job  Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Field Service Representative. The role is critical for managing and supporting our Marine Tank Farm (MTF) and Closed-Loop business segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high service standards, minimizing downtime, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

 

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations:

  • Customer service: Provide support to customers in external facilities, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Installation, repair, and maintenance: Install, repair, maintain, and test equipment at the site
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues
  • Reporting: Generate service reports
  • Safety: Responsible for complete EHS activities at the Customer site
  • Compliance: Adhere to company rules and regulations
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and share information
  • Equipment management: Maintain tools and equipment
  • Training: Teach customers on Water treatment chemicals
  • Flexibility: Adjust plans and asset allocation as needed
  • Leadership: Guide, motivate, and manage a team of technicians

 

Key Skills Required

  • Troubleshooting at site: Diagnose and resolve technical, mechanical, and chemical issues at site to ensure continued functionality and system reliability.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to clients on chemical treatment and system operation with best practices. 
  • Documentation: Accurately document all service, and daily/weekly and monthly reports related  activities in detailed. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze equipment performance, implementing strategies to improve reliability and efficiency. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technical staff, support function and technical team to resolve complex problems and enhance service quality. 
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards. 
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of chemical stock at site and share input for timely shipment to avoid any surprise 

 

Experience Required: 3 to 8 years

Qualifications

 B.Sc./M.Sc./ B.Tech./Diploma (Chemical)
