Company Description
Green Valley Landfill Limited (GVL), a joint venture with Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, manages the South East New Territories (SENT) Landfill and its extension. GVL focuses on sustainable waste management, converting landfill gas into electricity, fuel, and synthetic natural gas.
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive engineering support for landfill construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications and technical standards
- Coordinate and manage project scheduling, conformance testing, and site construction activities to ensure quality and timeline compliance
- Advise and supervise the relevant site personnel and contractors in the technical engineering aspects of the construction activities in a manner demonstrating safety, environmental and financial responsibility for the long-term operations of the facility
- Perform ad hoc duties as required to support project success
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Civil or structural engineering or equivalent experience in construction project
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Holder of valid driving license (Class 1 and 2) & Construction Safety (Green Card) Certificate
- Other qualifications relative to industrial field are preferred
Additional Information
Requirements:
- Min 3 years or above project construction management or relevant experience
- Responsible, outgoing, initiative and self-motivation and able to work independently and under pressure
- Proficient in MS office / Google applications
