Within the Field Service team composed of four Field Service Engineers and reporting to Operations Director, as a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for: 

• Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and start up of new plants and equipment engineered by Veolia Systems.  

• Working closely with other groups within Veolia Water Technologies during the design, engineering, construction, and startup of new or modified equipment to assure our installations meet the needs of our customers.  

• In addition, the field service specialist will be involved in Process Analysis of the Plant Performance, Heat and Material Balances checking, troubleshooting and inspecting existing equipment, conducting on-site Operating & Maintenance training, and evaluating existing evaporator and crystallized systems for increasing capacity and reliability.  

• Instrumentation and controls troubleshooting.

• Instrumentation loop checks.

• DCS / PLC logic reading.

• Practical/ Maintenance knowledge on industrial equipment (rotating and static), including startup and troubleshooting activities.

• Operation of process equipment related to chemical processing and water treatment. Experience with thermal/heat transfer equipment is preferred.

• Coordination and lead of Multi-discipline commissioning and startup activities, including development of commissioning plans and schedules.

• Ability to read and understand Piping and Instrumentation diagrams and Wiring diagrams.

Technical Profile in Industrial or Mechanical Specialities are preferred. Engineering Degree is not mandatory but would be valued

Do you have at least 5 years of experience in similar positions with engineering projects, especially in Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start Up activities?

Are you interested in Chemical Industrial Processes?

Do you have a high level of English and Spanish?

Are you available to travel internationally (60% of the time)?
