Job Description

Position Purpose: 

Responsible for the communication of all customer accounts within a region, including pricing, contract
specifications, resolving invoice discrepancies, etc., to ensure accuracy of customer and/or Veolia personnel
inquiries.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Answer all customer inquiries on a variety of issues pertaining to regulated medical waste disposal options, pricing, and contracts.
  • Respond to problem calls with respect to pickup and scheduling by informing appropriate personnel of dates, customers, and scheduling data.
  • Customer data entry
  • Waste record keeping
  • Provide additional services or maintain the current customer base.
  • Acts as liaison with customers and Veolia personnel in determining existing contract specifications, pricing, options, regulations, etc., to better service customer needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background: 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • BS in Business or related discipline preferred
  • 3-4 years of customer service experience preferred
  • 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

  • Extensive knowledge in communications
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong customer orientation

Pay Rate: $22.78 per hour
