As a Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will be, but not limited to: 

  • Review and ensure compliance with technical specifications required for projects.
  • Specify process equipment and components including pressure vessels, piping, valves, pumps, instruments & controls, etc.
  • Work with the design team to create all designs and drawings needed for projects
  • Define scope of supply for suppliers, and write procurement specifications and requests for quotation.
  • Review and approve equipment design.
  • Inspection of equipment.
  • Visit clients or suppliers at their domestic or international locations.
     

You have these:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the production of packaged process equipment, preferably for treatment of industrial water streams.
  • Thorough understanding of packaged process equipment utilizing pumps, the water hydraulics, valves, instrumentation and controls, and the manufacturing processes utilized for packaging of same.
  • Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
  • Experienced in design of piping systems, pressure vessels, and steel structures.
  • Ability to specify, size, study control valves, piping, and pumps. 
  • Prioritization, organization, multi-task, ability plan and problem solving skills.  
  • An innate ability to close out task lists, i.e. get things done.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert level required in: Google apps suite (Gmail, Docs, and Sheets).
  • Intermediate level required in: AutoCAD.
