Mechanical Engineer - Pressure Vessel

Essential Technical Responsibilities:

Must-Have Requirements

1. Perform Pressure Vessel Design inline with ASME Sec VIII Div 1

2. Generate Pressure Vessel Datasheets Datasheets based on Inter – Discipline Inputs

3. Review Pressure Vessel Fabrication Drawings inline with Code and Client Specifications

4. Proficient in using PV Elite or Compress Softwares

5. Ability to address technical enquiries and comments from clients and fabricators

 

Good To Have Requirements (That Supports future Career progression in the Role)

1. Awareness on Pipe Stress Analysis basics and exposure to Caesar II Software.

2. Awareness on rotating equipment’s like Pumps / Compressors.

3. Awareness on API Tanks and Atmospheric Tank design

4. General Knowledge of Design, 3D modelling and drafting software.

Applied Knowledge

 

  1. The individual has the technical ability to carry out small to medium-risk projects/tasks with the assistance of experienced engineers.

  2. The individual has a comprehension of the complete implementation of the project and the resulting outcomes.

  3. The individual maintains an up-to-date understanding of the various types of systems, equipment, information technology, and specifications that can be used to achieve specific design objectives.

Maximum 8 years’ Experience of mechanical design in Oil & Gas or related Industry.

Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Mechanical Engineering
