Job Description
Position Purpose:
Primary purpose of this role is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within
budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party
contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the
project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. In addition, the project manager will
gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. Individuals
will work closely with the functional IT and business groups to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions
deployed in support of business goals and objectives.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals; Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Develop and execute communication plan.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path; track project milestones and deliverables.
- Successfully manage the relationship with the requester and all stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Report and escalate to management, as needed.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
- Ability to provide leadership and coaching to less experienced project managers
- Leads internal teams/task forces

Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years project management experience
- Proven working experience in project management including all aspects of process development and execution, preferably in the information technology sector.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong familiarity with project management software.
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Required Certification / Licenses / Training:
- PMP preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly sits while working at the computer
- Constantly reaches forward to answer the telephone and to use the computer
- Frequently power grasps the telephone; frequently finger presses to operate the computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone keypad, frequently pulp pinches to handle papers
- Possesses speaking skills and hearing ability to interact with customers on the telephone
- Some travel may be required
