Veolia DB&T Belux is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workday Order to Cash Specialist to join our growing IT team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of our order to cash cycle within the Workday environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of order management, billing, collections, and cash application processes, along with proven experience in configuring and maintaining Workday Order to Cash modules or other main ERP systems.
What are your main tasks?
- You manage and optimize the entire Workday Order to Cash cycle, from order entry through cash application. This includes configuring and maintaining Workday modules for Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Collections, ensuring data integrity and robust security.
- Your daily responsibilities range from troubleshooting order issues and collaborating with sales and operations, to managing billing schedules and taxes, and monitoring outstanding receivables.
- You also oversee various finance processes within Workday. To drive continuous improvement, you develop reports and dashboards to track key metrics like DSO and business processes such as collection effectiveness.
- Analyzing trends, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate tasks.
- Additionally, you provide user training and support, participate in system testing and upgrades, and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Order to Cash operations
- Extensive experience configuring and maintaining Workday Order to Cash modules (Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with other ERP systems is a plus
- Workday certifications are highly desirable
You must have a strong proficiency in spoken and written English. Dutch and/or French are a big plus.
Being a team player, you should be comfortable collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and product managers, and be open to sharing ideas and knowledge.
