The Financial analyst will help modernize DB&T Finance and Corporate FP&A by combining analytical rigor with creativity to design smarter, data-driven processes. This 18-month role also supports financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, analyzing costs and variances across teams and departments. By consolidating data from SAP, SAC and PeopleSoft, the analyst delivers clear insights to strengthen financial decision-making.

Job Description

Key Achievements & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for VNA North America Create templates and support Business Units through monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting as well as budget cycles

  • Consolidate reports and provide timely analysis to corporate management

  • Support month-end reporting with clear variance explanations

  • Consolidate and interpret financial data from SAP and PeopleSoft.

  • Design and propose data-driven process improvements.

  • Translate analysis into actionable insights for better decision-making.

  • Improving financial reporting processes

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on sustainability projects.

Qualifications

  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics 

  • Professional background: 2 years of experience in finance preferably with some exposure to data intelligence concepts

  • Skills: 

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

    • Solid grounding in finance and budgeting principles

    • Proficient with Google Sheets, Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

    • Clear, concise communicator with data-driven thinking

    • Curious, adaptable, and eager to challenge old processes

    • Collaborative and comfortable working in an international environment

    • Digitally minded with interest in automation and AI in finance

    • Financial statement analysis (P&L, BS, Cash Flow)

    • KPI development and performance tracking

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    • Team leadership

Technical Skills:

  • ERP Systems: Hyperion (HFM), SMARTVIEW, Vector, PeopleSoft, SAP/SAC

  • Advanced Excel and Google Suite

  • Power BI

  • GAAP and IFRS knowledge

Languages:

  • English
  • French
