Job Description
With operations from coast to coast a growing presence in Canada, the Veolia Canada team is seeking a Marketing Communications Intern. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the marketing communications field while contributing to Veolia's mission of ecological transformation.
This program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in the environmental services sector while delivering valuable market intelligence to support our strategic growth initiatives. Throughout this internship, you will develop skills in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic marketing while gaining industry-specific knowledge in hazardous waste management and municipal water services.
You will be supported by a team of experienced professionals who will provide guidance, resources, and feedback throughout your internship. Regular check-ins will ensure you're progressing effectively and gaining valuable professional experience along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the expansion and development of Veolia Canada’s social media and digital marketing initiatives and monitoring and reporting structures to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Support the review of the company’s associations, conferences and community initiatives and related budgets and preparation of recommendations for the 2027 program
Updating and developing the company’s key customer and stakeholder data base and the mapping in key markets
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies.
Support the creation of marketing materials, including blogs, brochures, presentations, and digital content for municipal water, waste, hazardous waste and sustainability services.
Qualifications
Enrolled in or have completed studies in business, marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
Has previous experience in marketing, public relations, communications and/or social media management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French is an asset.
Self motivated with very strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for sustainability and ecological transformation.
Salary:
20$ per hour
