The Pleater will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to assemble pleated filters
by manipulating material to conform to a filter housing. He/She will use hand and machine tools along with inspection equipment. Team Pleaters perform all tasks in the manufacturing process, including rotating through all or most of the jobs rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

The shift for this role is Monday to Friday 6 AM to 2 PM.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assemble pleated filters using prescribed manufacturing procedures
  • Perform quality workmanship and keep scheduled deadlines to meet customer expectations
  • Observe all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules, including housekeeping practices; participate in EHS meetings, investigations, and audits
  • Proactively communicate and address safety concerns
  • Support business needs in regards to EHS, Quality, on time shipments and productivity; including eliminating barriers to achieving business goals
  • Aid in the training of other employees on new or existing procedures
  • Work and cooperate well on a team so team objectives are met
  • Perform in-process inspection of materials to assure conformance with specifications. Identify non-conforming material and pleated filters
  • Keep accurate records of Lot numbers, Model numbers, Serial numbers, and tracks labor and material usage
  • Input production data into a Network Database / SAP
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Assist in the development of new processes to improve product quality and production efficiency and aids in the development of new product models
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor, Facilitator, or Lead

Required:

  • Previous assembly experience
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to learn and understands all policies, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to accurately measure work in process
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, as required
  • Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes, as required
  • Ability and willingness to perform frequent lifting and bending motions, as required
  • Ability and willingness to utilize manual dexterity when manipulating materials to filter housings, as required

 

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma / GED

● Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles.  The range is
not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills,
experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.  Depending upon all the preceding
considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the
stated range: $18.00/hour
