Corporate Communication Officer

We are seeking a Corporate Communication Officer who will be responsible for developing content and delivering the internal and external communications initiatives through project coordination, media relations,  social media and employee communication, enabling Veolia Asia to engage internal and external stakeholders and strengthen employee engagement and brand message. 

 

Job Responsibilities

       Content development

  • Collaborate across departments to unearth insights and ideas for media and social media content. Build synergy through close collaboration.

  • Participate in brainstorms and develop creative concepts that translate into storytelling, video production, graphic designs 

  • Manage the end-to-end content operations and logistics incl. planning, collecting content, scripting, interviewing, copywriting, quality assurance, and sensitivity checks, to publishing, monitoring and optimization. 

  • Plan, coordinate, produce, and adapt the content and copy for all our internal and external communication channels, including the intranet, newsletter, email, video script, thought leadership, press releases, corporate Linkedin page, and management’s LinkedIn page.

      Corporate communications

  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of internal and external communication materials. 

  • Support various communications campaigns, including media relations and pitching, to raise awareness and gain exposure for Veolia in Asia

  • Advise and support internal stakeholders in defining channels and strategies and producing employee-friendly content for internal communication and engagement.

  • Support the organization and content development for online and offline events.

Requirement

  • Degree Holder in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or related disciplines.

  • 4+ years of experience in copywriting, devising and implementing content & social media strategies and plans. 

  • Keen interest in science, sustainability, and environmental protection

  • Expertise in writing an extensive range of content in English, including executive speeches, internal newsletters, press releases, and social media posts

  • Ability to draft copywriting quickly and process new information on the go.

  • An outstanding command of written English and fluency in Chinese.

  • Have a keen eye for detail, strong research skills, a relentless sense of responsibility, independence, self-motivated, and ownership in problem-solving

  • Experience in working with journalists and pitching for media opportunities
