Job Description

The Lead Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring product excellence and maintaining rigorous quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Establish and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to provide stringent product quality control directives, ensuring uninterrupted production processes.
  • Develop and execute a strategic T&P Products manufacturing quality plan aligned with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee T&P products manufacturing quality, spearheading initiatives to optimize quality control processes, ensuring product integrity while driving cost-effective quality measures.
  • Lead efforts in manufacturing standardization to minimize product quality variations and maintain consistency across production lines.
  • Conduct thorough product failure analyses and implement data-driven quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall product performance.
  • Collaborate with the T&P products service team to address and resolve critical product quality and delivery issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company workplace policies, with particular emphasis on safety protocols and objectives.
  • Foster employee development through mentorship, training, and performance management to support organizational growth and maintain a high-caliber workforce.
  • Execute additional strategic tasks as assigned by upper management to support overall quality objectives.

Qualifications

  • With an eight-year bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably mechanical engineering, Material science or Chemical science related) With a minimum five years of manufacturing quality experience.

  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Spoken & Written). 

  • Highly motivated and ability to drive closure of issues across functions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interact with customers and suppliers on a technical level, and lead a team to solution are required.

  • In depth knowledge in quality methodologies with command of tools inc. statistical analysis, DOE, FMEA, etc. Engage Six Sigma tools for quality improvements

  • Work well in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Work well in a global and cross functional team environment 

  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001Quality Management Systems
