Job Description
- Oversee weighbridge operations and traffic management for the POB area.
- Design and modify pump works and vehicle wash plants to meet operational requirements.
- Manage subcontractors on engineering and overhaul works to ensure compliance with corporate H&S standards and delivery of quality workmanship and services.
- Provide technical support to the WRA team in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency; diagnose equipment failures and investigate root causes to develop preventive solutions.
- Assist in implementing H&S inspection programmes and auditing checks; provide findings and recommendations to WRA for continuous improvements.
- Assist in the execution of infrastructural capital and operational projects, including site supervision of subcontractors, testing and commissioning of new installations, and other duties as required to ensure achievement of position objectives and Veolia's business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Service Engineering.
- Holder of a valid Green Card & Driving license (Class 1 or 2).
Additional Information
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of engineering work experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, with hands-on involvement in the overhaul and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word), Google Workplace, and Chinese word processing. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, independent and self-motivated. Strong interpersonal skills to manage subcontractors and frontline staff effectively.
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as a Assistant Project Engineer
