Job Description
Job Description:
● Responsibility for the Daily Operation & Maintenance in accordance with the contract requirements
● Maintain appropriate vendor relationships to perform the necessary building repair and maintenance
● Oversee the building systems and critical facilities equipment and maintain cost effective and efficient operation of all building systems
● Plan, implement, coordinate and supervise all mechanical/electrical operations, maintenance
● Oversee scheduling of preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance with minimum disruption of building services and coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors, personnel and engineers
● Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns
● Lead and manage the critical facilities team including hiring process, training, and personnel development
● Ensure compliance with all OH&S procedures and requirements, including permit to work, risk assessments, safe work method statements, personal protective equipment
● Conduct site safety and hazard identification inspections
● Report all safety concerns, hazards, near misses and incidents
Qualifications
- Degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Management or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in operations
Additional Information
Requirements:
● Experience in managing teams
● Strong management and organization skills to manage the operations and lead multiple trade disciplines
● Strong project management, trouble-shooting and organizational skills
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
● Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
● Professional membership from a relevant organization
● Registered Grade B0 Electrical Worker will be an advantage
● Immediate available is preferred
