Job Description
Position Purpose:
The OCM Lead will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by
increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the “people side” of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology, job roles, and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of, and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.
The OCM Lead must work through many others in the organization to succeed. The Change Management Lead
will coach senior leaders and executives to help them fulfill the role of change sponsor. They may also provide
direct support and coaching to all managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
The OCM Lead will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
- Delivery of change management plans for digital initiatives.
- Work with leaders and various stakeholders to define the change strategy
- Work closely with the transformation team to align on deliverables from a change perspective.
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and change impact assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Establish and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure the effectiveness of analysis activities and report on project success.
- Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Change Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy for specific projects and or initiatives, ensuring alignment with VNA ESS’ mission, goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, including senior
leadership, employees, and external partners, to build support and commitment to the
change efforts. - Create training plans to prepare end-user for change
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training
programs. - Establish and maintain a network of change champions or agents within the organization
who can help drive the adoption of changes at various levels. - Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support the
adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative. - Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
- Integrate change management activities into project plan
- Create training plans/documents to prepare end-user for change
- Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications for
various audiences. - Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders
to understand business needs and translate them into clear and actionable requirements. - Ensure the alignment of business requirements with organizational goals, strategies, and
processes. - Produce compelling stories to engage with the audience and reflect the strategy
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Change Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with requirements management and modeling tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations

Required Certification / Licenses / Training:
- PROSCI certification preferred
- Well knowledgeable of project management approaches, tools and
phases of the project lifecycle
Additional Information
Annual Pay range: Minimum of $100000 to a maximum of $120000
